“Teacher Gwen”, as she likes to be called, saw a need to provide quality and affordable child care services in the Philadelphia area. She then took those qualities she found most helpful to the growth and development of her own children and created a developmentally-appropriate program that will give your child something to grow on!
Teacher Gwen holds a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences. She will receive her M.Ed. in early childhood education Fall 2016. She possesses her Director's Credential and is a member of the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC).
The Director has her Director's Credential. The facility is a Keystone Stars participant and holds a STAR 3 rating! Keystone Stars is an initiative designed to improve the quality of childcare in the state of Pennsylvania.

Something to Grow on Educational Center, Inc. (STGO), a daycare facility located in West Philadelphia, provides a developmentally-appropriate program for children aged 6 months to 5 years. STGO believes that each child is unique and therefore requires a program that stimulates their individuality. The childcare facility provides activities that enable children to explore and enhance your child's intellectual, creative, social, emotional, and physical development. We provide an environment where children feel comfortable, safe, and secure and can therefore be "open to learn."
